Homemade Gluten Free Pizza – Baked Ziti Style Recipe
Posted by A Gluten Free Mom on February 24, 2012 in Uncategorized | ∞
Even with an iPhone picture this makes me hungry! In my house, I’m apparently the only one who likes leftovers. Well, lucky for me, I had leftover sauce from a baked ziti I had pre-prepped for my bowling night out.
Pizza–Baked Ziti Style
Ingredients:
- Udi’s Gluten Free Pizza Crust (OMG–You’ve got to try this!)
- 1/2 cup of leftover ziti sauce (meat sauce with ricotta cheese mixed in)
- 2 tablespoons (about a small handful) of mini pepperoni
- 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions:
- Defrost pizza crust (I let it sit in the fridge throughout the morning and it was ready by lunchtime)
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
- Evenly spread sauce, cheese and pepperoni on the cust
- Bake about 10 minutes (until the cheese starts to bubble)

This looks delicious. I have a friend who has went gluten free to help her children and I've shared your blog with her. Finding recipes for the family has been a challenge sometimes, so your site has been helpful! And since I love Pizza, I shared this with my friends on facebook too.

Wow, this looks so yummy! I'm all about using leftovers, but generally we just eat them as leftovers. I'll have to think of how to make a new dish with our leftovers, esp if it'll turn out yummy like this! Thanks so much for sharing for Delicious Dish Tuesday! We'd love it if you'd add a link to the hop, and please come back tonight and share another yummy recipe!
